Storm had her acupuncture/chiropractic appointment today at the Holistic vet. We were there over an hour and Storm and I both really liked the Dr. I explained my concerns with her leg and we brainstormed a bit. Her circulation is not great and her back was really tight. We are going to do both a Western and Holistic approach. For now Storm is on a month long trial of antibiotics, a herbal liquid to promote bone growth and she will go back on a high protein home cooked diet, with an added calcium supplement as well as probiotics... High Maintenance Pit! Although I did receive a very nice compliment after our apt when the Dr said that I take very good care of her and she could see how loved she was :) Fingers and paws crossed her xrays in a month will show some kind of improvement.
