StormTronNJ update: Humid with daily chance of thunderstorms this week....higher chances of heavy rain with storms wed, thurs, thurs night...keeping an eye on Tropical Storm Chantal way out in the atlantic....the highest threat of weather impacts is later in the week, with the chance of a few severe thunderstorms and perhaps renewed threat of flash floods....tropical storm Chantal at this time is expected to track towards the carribean...pausing before either turning north or continuing to the gulf of mexico....if Chantal effects NJ down the road the most likely threat would be additional heavy rains...for now the focus for disruptive weather is this repeating cycle that brings deep moisture and localized flooding back to us every few days with wed/thurs being the days to watch most closely this week
