Storms Delay ‘Sinatra’ Launch, Royal Family Waiting Aboard HMS Britannia Off Lewes Coast. Dateline: June 10, 2013 FOX NEWS affiliate KLEW-TV reports from Lewes, Delaware The greatly anticipated launch of the much publicized vessel, Moonlight Sinatra, from the public launch ramp on the outskirts of Lewes, Delaware was postponed earlier today due to a strong system of storms moving over the region. Expected to attend today’s historic launch was England’s Queen Elizabeth and her husband, Prince Charles, who both arrived Friday aboard The HMS Britannia and are presently moored in The Delaware Bay 3 miles off the coast from the small town of Lewes. Although greatly disappointed, The Queen this morning released a statement to the press stating that she planned to remain in Lewes until the launch takes place, which exact date and time have not yet been determined. Late this afternoon, a brief statement was made by the vessel’s owner, Captain John Hurlock, that the ‘Moonlight Sinatra’ would be launched once weather conditions permitted and that he expected “Queenie”, as he has come to refer to Her Royal Highness” to sit tight on her gigantic royal ass until he and the weather are damn good and ready to launch the friggin’ boat. Shepard Smith, lead anchor of FOX News, has been in Lewes for several days and will provide live continuing coverage of this important story as events unfold. Smith also hopes to conduct a rare personal interview with The Queen but it seems unlikely since she has the reputation of being such a pompous ass and is currently suffering from the gout due to stuffing herself with junk food since she arrived in Lewes.
