Narendra Modi, acts swiftly to assist Super Specialty Hospital: Dr.Ravi Goyal is a highly experienced and specialized in Neurology and lives in Jacksonville, Florida, U.S.A. His wife, Rashmi Goyal does counselling of technical students to develop rapport with the patients. He conducts surgical workshop supervising surgeries on the spine using metal implants. which he obtains from American companies as donation for his mission. In February 2014, Dr. Ravi Goyal obtained a donation of surgical implants from two companies to the tune of $ 200,000.00. These implants were stocked at the Sai Foundation office in USA. Could ONLY be imported by SSIHMS after obtaining a NOC from Govt of India. Till September NOC has not been received by the hospital although all concerned have been working feverishly to obtain the same including Sai Foundation, Central Trust and the SSIHMS hospital. Dr. Ravi had planned his trip to India long back. Without these surgical implants, his visit could be fruitless. If the NOC is not received from Govt of India, then these costly implants would remain in USA and go to waste . One fine morning, Dr. Ravi prompted by an urge, made a long distant call to Prime Minster Sri. Modi’s office in India. An officer answered the call and asked for all details including his contact Number in USA. The very next morning Mr Misra, principal secretary to PM called Dr. Ravi in USA and asked for the details of the application including the Ministry and File number etc. Soon all details were sent by Email to Sri. Modi’s office. Within two days, Dr.Ravi received a call from the Sathya Sai Central Trust that NOC has been duly received. Then backed up by swift action, the implants reached Bangalore Super Specialty Hospital, well before Dr. Ravi Goyal reached there. The workshop was completed with great success. All the doctors at SSIHMS worked overtime during Diwali vacation, to utilize all the implants, while Dr. Ravi was still Bangalore. These implants could ONLY be used during Dr. Ravi’s presence at SSIHMS as part of his contract with the donating companies in USA. Interestingly everyone were curious to know how Dr. Ravi could manage to contact the PM of India’s office, and could get this expeditious response from Govt of India. Dr. Ravi politely replied to every one, that he was totally unaware, how all these could have happened so swiftly. He explained that he took a blind shot and made a call to PMO’s office. To top it all, as soon as, Dr. Ravi reached back U.S.A, He received an email from Prime Minster’s Office as a follow up on the NOC and a requested him to send them a copy of the same, perhaps to be shown to Sri Narendra Modi. Swami works in mysterious ways, supporting the devotees in services. In fact the most delayed sanction picked up super speed, when Mr. Narendra Modi, intervened in the matter.
