Story of the day: Walking into the grocery store across from Metrozoo. One girl who looks very masculine and two young dudes slim in build both throwing a football back in forth with a bucket in hand. First kid: Can we get a donation sir? Me: umm, yeah on my way out! First kid: Thank you! (Coming back with a dollar and groceries in hand) Me: Youngin here you go! Question what or who are you collecting money for? Second kid: (takes black and mild out his mouth to put it behind his ear) oh, we collecting for Miami Northwestern! (I reach to grab the flyer which has a picture of Miami Northwestern with a foundation under it) Me: (*blank stare of confusion) are you serious right now? You guys are collecting money for Miami Northwestern football team in the heart of South Miami Dade with four high school all within a few miles of here?! First kid: yeah, you know we go every where to collect money even down to homestead if necessary! Me: you play on the team? First kid: yeah, I play wide receiver! Me: (makes the Huey Freeman angry face and exhales) bruh, you are like 5 6 and weigh about 130 with some clothes on and no muscle build but you telling me you play wide receiver?! Alright fellas!
