Straight from Mama Trish Gaddis Gower herself Ok all, here is the scoop on Julie Gower. Dr. called with lab results today. Hodgkins lymphoma. Best type to have and 100% treatable with an extremely high cure rate. Same thing Michael Compton has only at an earlier stage. What we know? Type of cancer, treatments will be at Riley hospital in Indy most likely. Julie is afraid she will lose her hair but has no real fear of dying. We know this is definitely beatable. We know it will be a tough road but we can do it with Gods help. What we dont know: When treatments begin, what type of treatments, or how many. Whether she will lose any hair. Whether it will affect her lifestyle. These are things you can pray for us about. This could be a long road or a short one depending on what stage of cancer she has. I will update as I know more. Im doing this on here so as to not leave anyone out, and so as to keep from spending all my time notifying folks... Our family comes first and they have all been notified, but our friends and extended family are extremely important to us too. I dont want anyone to feel I am being impersonal, but this is the best way I know to get all of our loved ones in one place. Please keep us in your prayers. We love you all.
