Strange things happen .. we might just missed the biggest opportunity we ever got. Heres whats happened .. A men in his late 50s dressed poorly came into our office through our backdoor and walked straight to our lab filled with all kinds of devices. People were too busy to react immediately. Typical issue when someone is acting like he exactly knows where to go and why. He reviewed our devices and moaned with satisfaction yes, this is great. I like it.. One of my employees approached him and brought him to me afterwards. It turned out that he was seeking for a new job and someone at the employment agency recommended him to visit us. He did just that. He wanted to see if the company is appealing to him. Making an appointment or even introducing himself in the first place seemed not to be something familiar to him. He told me that he is looking to pursue a new activity (not a job or something defined .. just activity) claiming to be a scientist who spent last ten years somewhere in South America doing something. He was not willing to provide me any detailed answer regarding his whereabouts or his educations or his experience but he assured me that hes one of its kind and we should definitely offer him something. He is able to fulfil any requirement for any kind of job we might be able to offer him. However he wants to have something extraordinary interesting and challenging. I apologised for not being able to offer anything that even closely might be considered as a challenging offering for such extraordinary person. He left.
