Strategic Tata Relief Committee has offered its help to AP Government in Rebuilding AP: Tata Relief Committee is heping AP in Restoration work. Tata Trust has formed Tata Relief Committee that is working with Andhra Pradesh government in restoring normalcy after Cyclone Hudud hit ravaged the coastal districts of the state. To help the government in debris and pathway clearance, Tata relief committee has provided the government with 4 JCBs and 8 tippers. The Committee has deployed 200 Tata engineers who are helping the government in power restoration works. For Drinking water, Tata relief committee said that one plant reached Vizag. Further, five RO plants will reach Vizianagram and 4 RO Plants to Srikakulam tomorrow. They said the district collectors will finalize site locations by Tuesday to commission the plants immediately. The company is also supplying 850 Tata Swach water filters from Bangalore, 500 from Cuttack and 500 from Hyderabad. The committee is also supplying solar lanterns to the government. 2,000 lanterns have been handed over to the Municipal Commisioner of Vizag today. To save Tress and bird life, the committee brought 30 trained specialists from Rallis who will work on bringing back green cover to Vizag. With regard to repairing fishing nets and boats, the Trust said it will assess the ground situation and respond as required.
