Street Machine Streetcar Shootout Keen eyed readers might have noticed that were running a Streetcar Shootout on October 18th at Heathcote Raceway. Numbers will be limited so ask us for an entry form so weve got an idea of how many are coming. Send your e-mail request to: [email protected] (you probably wont get it until Monday) The rules are simple: Leave the car trailer at home, drive you car to the track and run what you brung. You can swap to slicks or whatever when you get there, run it on whatever jungle juice you like, but youve got to bring everything in the car youre racing (tools, fuel, tyres, crew), or in a small single axle trailer towed behind that same car. Entry is cheap at $60 per car (pay at the gate), spectators are $20, kids under 14yo are free. OUTLAW BLOWN CATEGORY For street driven and registered vehicles that run a radial tyre wider than 275, or slicks of any size, with superchargers, nitrous or turbos, or any combination thereof OUTLAW ASPIRATED CATEGORY For vehicles that run a radial tyre wider than 275, or slicks of any size, with no forced induction at all STREET RADIAL BLOWN CATEGORY For vehicles that run a radial tyre 275 or narrower running superchargers, nitrous or turbos, or any combination thereof STREET RADIAL ASPIRATED CATEGORY For vehicles that run a radial tyre 275 or narrower with no forced induction at all DYO CATEGORY For vehicles that don’t fit into the main classes, or those entrants who don’t wish to run heads up Weve also got a pretty cool surprise happening, you dont want to miss it.
