Strength training is important for everyone!It doesnt have to be for something sport specific or someone looking to be a powerlifter. If you want to get stronger, youll get stronger. If you are looking to lose weight, youll drop the pounds. It never has to be to the extent that you see on my page, but working towards some sort of strength goal will benefit everyone. Strength training will not only strengthen the muscles, but also your joints, heart, and even your bones(for all you runners, especially) Today was a big upper body day in my new program. Heres a 3 rep max pause bench @ 205lbs. I finish all my workouts now with some sort of posture / post deltoid work with the bands. It helps aesthetically round my rear delt, pull my shoulders back for posture and help strengthen my upper back for the 3 big lifts.
