Strikers attack Sonali Bank, one injured Politics 84-hour Hartal Submitted by Shahriar.Asif on Tue, 12/11/2013 - 5:23pm Strikers vandalised a branch of Sonali Bank at Gaibandha’s Palashbarhi on Tuesday. A bank official was injured during the attack. The bank’s manager Sirajul Islam said nine young men entered the bank around 10.30am and asked them to stop all activities. They also smashed glasses of the bank’s cash section and fled the scene. Cash officer Hazrat Ali, 45, was injured at that time. The culprits will be identified from the bank’s CCTV camera, said Palashbarhi Police Station OC Nasir Uddin Mondol.
