String Theory--The Source of Creation by Lee Down #AAA #Artists #Artwork #Arts This is one of my own paintings. Mixed media, measuring about 18 x 16 (45cm x 40cm). If you look closely, you will see string added, little tiny snips of string, and what you dont see is that they can glow in the dark. And one image is plain light, the other is in semi-darkness with a feature-light adding a nice effect. God has always fascinated me, much more than religion. Although there was a period in my life when I pursued a few different avenues of God in organized religion, fearful about the choices--damned if you, damned if you dont. When my journey ended there, so was what they could teach me, and God didnt fit in their vessels. It was around this period that I decided there was no point to the pursuit of spirituality. The very next year, String Theory hit the the science community and started being introduced to mainstream society. All of a sudden many pieces started to fit. A connection and relationship to an unknown intelligence and mystery that creates all life. And it is being explored and explained, thus far, in the pursuit of Physics. My mind immediately connected this to a sense of evidence that points to the possibility of God. Maybe that is God, maybe God is beyond that still. But I felt it. And God is not as people perceive, but in fact is another scientific entity, ie. The Universe. This is where the science and the spiritual teachings and religions also start to agree in some measure. I say in some measure, as I also witness much abuse and interpretation that actually causes many people serious harm, spiritually, financially, emotionally, you name it. But that still does not deny that there is a magic that happens in this place when we function from the higher place within us, and seek to do good, and do no harm.
