String theory is a mathematical theory of particle physics which models all the subatomic particles in the universe (protons, neutrons, electrons, quarks, photons, etc) as bits of vibrating string. Like the notes played on a violin, the particles produced by a string depend on how the string vibrates. Despite a lot of brilliant physicists’ efforts, despite the beauty and elegance of the ideas, string theory really cannot even be considered a theory in the usual sense. In everyday life, there are three familiar dimensions of space (up/down, left/right, and forward/backward), and there is one dimension of time (later/earlier). Thus, in the language of modern physics, one says that spacetime is four-dimensional. And suddenly Salman khan starts dancing with Mithun Da in a bar. He drives a cycle, wearing a bra shaped mask, but police is not able to chase him. He robs in India, shouts Loser as a hint to a policemen, goes to Poland, jumps into a river full of crores in Poland, disappears from there, dances in India a T-Shirt where Loser and then suddenly joins Indian police without writing any exams. String theory explains the world through 11 dimensions. Imagining an 11 dimensional world is beyond human imagination. Mathematicians and Physicists assume that some of the extra dimensions are closed up on themselves to form circles.In the limit where these curled up dimensions become very small, one obtains a theory in which spacetime has effectively a lower number of dimensions. Similarly, there are 100s of dimensions in Salman Khan movies. We humans are not able to decode most of these dimension. His movies have patches of puzzles which will take millions of years to decode.
