Striving the Good Strife O man of God, these things flee, and pursue righteousness, piety, faith, love, endurance, meekness; 12 be striving the good strife of the faith, be laying hold on the life age-during, to which also thou wast called, and didst profess the right profession before many witnesses. 13 I charge thee, before God, who is making all things alive, and of Christ Jesus, who did testify before Pontius Pilate the right profession, 14 that thou keep the command unspotted, unblameable, till the manifestation of our Lord Jesus Christ, 15 which in His own times He shall shew -- the blessed and only potentate, the King of the kings and Lord of the lords, 16 who only is having immortality, dwelling in light unapproachable, whom no one of men did see, nor is able to see, to whom [is] honour and might age-during! Amen. WHEN you remember and act upon the fact that what you are fighting for is inexplicably more valuable and powerful than what you are fighting against, you will be victorious. Even all failure will, by faith, be revealed to you as momentary set backs in order for God to display His glory and majesty. His strength is made perfect in our weaknesses. 1 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. continued.... 4 You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. 5 They are of the world. Therefore they speak as of the world, and the world hears them. 6 We are of God. He who knows God hears us; he who is not of God does not hear us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error. (1 John 4) The spirit of error preaches the failure of Christ and His Kingdom, and the lie that satan will ultimately be victorious over most of humanity. UNTIL each man learns this He will not fully know the deliverance and spiritual healing of God. None of us have yet come to full knowledge completely, but we will know fully in the ages to come. Yet, God has promised to put His righteousness and wisdom into each of us. In the Kingdom of God and the plan He has for mankind, there is no such thing as chance. It is simply a matter of WHEN. Opportunities abound for any of us at any moment to receive the VICTORY He has promised to us all. Even the darkness has become light to us. Paul, preaching on Mars Hill in Athens, Greece, told those pagan idolaters; He has given assurance of this to all by raising Him from the dead. AS LONG AS anyone continues to believe that the cross of Christ is a failure, deny His victory over death and the grave, and deny that God our Father sends His blessings and is kind and merciful to the just and the unjust, and that God will not receive everything that Christ paid for then that one will continue to flounder in failure and defeat. The Father will continue to wreck those things and those that are at enmity with Him and His infallible plan to become all in all. He wounds that He might heal. God will not give up on anyone, though he may bring weeping and gnashing of teeth for a TIME. Why? Because He is a sadist? No, Because He is Love. And whom He loves, He chastens. `The reign of the heavens is like to leaven, which a woman having taken, hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened. said Jesus the Savior of the World Our God reigns. In Him all things consist, and are held together. Every knee shall bow! Hallelujah! The aim of every Christian must be the Kingdom of God in this age and in the ages to come. We do not get saved just so we can die and go to heaven. We are blessed to be a blessing. We are building the Kingdom now. It will continue to grow until the whole of mankind is engulfed in it.
