Stromboli was found lose in a park in the Bronx. He didnt have any leash and followed the officer easily to his car. He is super friendly and likes to lick and greet new people. A Volunteer writes : Stromboli lets me know he really really wants to go outside by wagging his tail, wiggling his butt and getting as close to the door as possible the minute I approach. Not one to stand meekly on the sidelines of life, this delightful guy is full of friendly energy and good humor, a refreshing pick-me-up at the end of a long day. In the yard Stromboli dashes about, greeting other dogs with happy enthusiasm and getting up on his hind legs to check out whats happening in the next-door pen. When I ask him to sit for treats he does (most of the time!) and almost kisses them from my fingers with his gentle mouth. Hes not too interested in ball play so once his business is taken care of, we head out to the street and I get a chance to watch this first-class doggie detective in action. Stromboli simply loves to sniff and he keeps a calm and steady pace, the better to fully appreciate all the scents on offer. Two cyclists are taking a break on the sidewalk and he greets them with snuffles and a wagging tail - strangers are just friends Stromboli hasnt met yet! If fun is the name of your game then here is the guy for you. Whether hiking in the great outdoors or paying social calls in the city, I guarantee hell be thrilled by it all, Stromboli is a dog who simply loves life. If you can offer him a brighter tomorrow then please dont wait!
