Strong Winds Like This Did Not Detour Us As Kids Back In The Day From Going Outside To Play. I Recall When We Would Make Our Own Kites & See Which One Would Fly The Highest, Last The Longest, Did Most Tricks & Dips To The Kewlest Looking. We Used Tree Limbs, Branches, Crap Wood Pieces, Bailing Wire, Coat Hangers & String To Tie The T Cross Skeleton Rib Then We Cutout A Diamond Shape Pattern From Strong Plastic Bags, Construction Paper, Newspaper & Cardboard. Then Use Glue, Tape, Staple Or Rubber Cement The Folded Over Sides For The Loop Where The String Runs Through To Give It The Diamond Shape When Attached To The Kite Frame. Through Trial & Error, Experiments & Test Runs, We Knew What Needs to Be Adjusted Or Changed. With Sand Grit Teeth & Windy Lips, We Ran Against The Wind Until Our Kite Floated Skyward. Then We Would Turn Around, Stop & Feed More String To Make It Go Higher. We Didnt Buy Toys, We Made Them. Maybe Ill Design Some Silver Overlay/ Inlay Butterfly Jewelry Next,,,,:)
