Structure Fire On 1/22/2013 at 1146 hours the Township of Hamilton Police Department and Mizpah Fire Department responded to 6912 Railroad Blvd in Mizpah, NJ for a structure fire. Initial responding units observed heavy fire and smoke coming from the residence. Firefighters were faced with extremely cold temperatures resulting in severe icing at the scene. Also, due to lack of fire hydrants, all water had to be shuttled in by responding fire trucks. The fire is being investigated by Det Frank Schalek and Fire Inspector Frank Primevera. All occupants of the house escaped and no injuries were reported. The house was completely destroyed. Also assisting at the scene were Mays Landing, Weymouth, Dorothy, Richland, East Vineland and Newtonville Fire Departments, Mays Landing Rescue Squad and the American Red Cross.
