Stuart Scott was a phenomenal sports journalist/reporter/anchor...I say that now and I have always said that....he was a total breath of fresh air that ESPN desperately needed....I honestly have no doubt that Boo Ya! will never vacate my vocabulary and quite frankly I am more than ok with that. I always respected his professionalism as well as his attention to detail combined with a true knowledge/love for sports...As someone who has worked behind a microphone for over a couple of decades (please do not get me wrong I am by NO means even remotely claiming experience comparable to an ESPN anchor..that would be ludicrous at best) I understand the level of difficulty involved in being able to perform at that level day in day out and to make it look effortless..Stuart Scott to me was one of those guys I just kinda hoped would always be on ESPN...someone who by some miracle would defy reality and be there forever...my heart goes out to his family and may he truly rest in peace...as one gigantic sports nut I will sincerely miss him...and I have a feeling I am not the only one.
