Student Profile: Ella Ella started with Shuzoku Martial Arts 18 months ago. She came in as a very shy girl and I would have been lucky enough to get a hello out of her once a week!! But times have changed and when she gets talking now theres no stopping her. I still remember the first time Ella sparred in the dojo. She just stood there with a look of terror on her face. The person opposite her was throwing punches and kicks yelling kiai and you could see Ella thinking ummm this isnt for me, get me out of here!!!. This was going to be a challenge for her to overcome and a challenge for me to get her there. But look at her now, how the tables have turned, Im sure I see a smile on her face when she lands one of those punches or even better, one of those nice high head kicks. I cant wait for Ella to enter her first tournament. This is going to be a monumental achievement when it happens and Im going to be right there when it does, because no matter what the outcome she will be an absolute winner in my eyes. Keep up the great work Ella, keep believing you can do it, because I know you can. Osu!
