Student welfare and SERVICES should be given a higher priority in a university where such ailing systems are still in use. The core system for online enrollment is already there, there should only be an initiative and will to power for this to happen. Students should not suffer waiting in line as early as late in the evening of the previous day just to be first in line for the enrollment. It has long been an issue, and yet there have been little or no progress to tackle this issue. Some might say that if you complain about this kind of system, then transfer to another school, but NO. If you love the school you are in now, you must do whatever you can to improve and help your beloved university in terms of serving the students welfare. Simple but effective solutions must be in place to avoid such instances as what we are seeing unfold right before our very eyes right now. Other universities such as USI, UNC are going or have already gone ONLINE, and other state universities are already planning to go online. Ironic to see also that we have such great IT students and professors, yet we have not seen any significant improvement with the current enrollment system that we currently have now. Yes, I am disappointed, yet I want to help, I have suggestions, yet Im worried they would go through deaf ears. Everyone should help hand in hand to solve this issue, instead of prolonging the agony of the students, the life-blood of the university.
