Students handbook revised edition 2012,Page 81 nd 82, Elections,Article 54.1,sub-section 10.2 B and C states that A student shall not be qualified for election to any executive office unless (B)..Not have any criminal record (C)..Not have been rusticated or disciplined in any way or withdrawn by the University. The Students handbook has made it clear and emphasised on the qualification one must have to contest for SRC elections. On this note I would like to say Enerst Opoku Nti(Restoration) has no say or right to contest for SRC elections since he was found guilty as one of the students who 1.Issued fake receipt to their own colleagues 2.was been made to sign a bond of good behaviour 3.was made to pay another fees to register 4.was a victim at the same time, Now lets make this clear.A committee was set to investigate this criminal act. There is perhaps no phenomenon which contains so much destructive feeling as moral indignation, which permits envy or hate to be acted out under the guise of virtue. Now to some of us we are just looking at what will go on in the vetting room.Even if he could not manage his own affairs how much more the students affairs(Due diligence) Bertrand Russell once said The infliction of cruelty with a good conscience is a delight to moralists. That is why they invented Hell. Justice must be done!!!
