Studio Manager/Producer Fiocca Studio - Toronto, Canada Area Posted 17 days ago Job description The Studio Manager/Producer at Fiocca Studio is responsible for the creation, production, and delivery of projects as well as management of the building and staff. Excellent time management, organizational, interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills are a must. The Studio Manager/Producer will maximize the quality of work and efficiency of the studio by developing and maintaining a best-in-class methodology that ensures our client expectations are continually met. They will support a very busy commercial photographer/director, facilitating the success and growth of a fast-paced, creative environment. Our ideal candidate must be a highly motivated self-starter who is results focused and can effectively manage multiple projects at once. Responsibilites Support photographer/director in all aspects of pre-production and production of photography shoots Writing/editing commercial motion treatments/pitches Coordinating photographer’s calendar and staff - booking talent (stylists, assistants, models) for shoots Planning catering and breakfasts for shoots Oversee the operations of the studio to ensure all resources and processes are optimized Keeping the studio clean, organized, well-stocked, functional Source and recruit resource requirements including freelance, contract and full-time Key Relationships The role involves interfacing with: Clients, Agencies, Production Coordinators, Art Directors, Designers, Account Directors, Various Studio Service Providers Direct reports: Photographer/Director, Reps, Stylists, Assistants, Retouchers, Executive Producers, Producers, Editors Desired Skills and Experience Proven ability in project management of commercial/creative projects in a fast-paced environment In-depth understanding of photography and commercials MUST HAVE VERY STRONG WRITING SKILLS and experience writing treatments/pitches Process and detail-oriented with creative and analytical problem-solving skills Superior relationship and client relation skills and ability to communicate effectively Experience with managing budgets and scheduling Knowledge of management principles and ability to create procedures Mac-based computer knowledge Microsoft Office + basic Adobe Photoshop skills Web and FTP Qualifications Bachelors Degree and/or Diploma required with strong preference for film production, photography, communications, marketing At least two years professional experience in film and/or photography within a similar role preferred Must have valid Ontario driver’s license Dates 1st Round Interviews – Mar 10 to 28 Trial Day – Mar 31 to Apr 17 Start Date – Apr 22 (Training Apr 22 – May16) * Email resume and cover letter to jobs@fioccastudio *Only those chosen for interviews will be contacted.
