Study shows hair samples do not belong to Bigfoot After analyzing more than 30 hair samples reportedly left behind by Bigfoot, scientists have found no evidence that the samples belong to the creature. Researchers at Oxford University and the Lausanne Museum of Zoology in 2012 asked museums, scientists and Bigfoot enthusiasts worldwide to share samples believed to be left behind by the creature. Bryan Sykes of Oxford University led the research study, which was published online Wednesday. According to the study, DNA sequencing concluded most samples were from bears, but there were also some from horses, porcupine, deer, sheep, and a human.
