Stupid; senseless ... but totally predictable. Push people hard enough, and the crazy comes out. All long as people see any cop getting the whitewash by a department, then the entire department looks dirty to them. As long as the thin blue line exists and any bad cop is allowed, then ALL the law enforcement in that line ARE bad, too. As long as prosecutors knowingly allow perjury to protect cops, then the cops in the system are dirty. People no longer trust cops because of the bad cops in the system. ZERO tolerance; clean house, and things will improve.
