Subhanallah, In Uruguay, the worlds most humble president, Jose Mujica, who pays himself only $300 a week, lives in this run down home, and drives a 27 year old used Beetle, has received all the innocent prisoners who were released from Guantanamo this week, all who have been tortured for years without evidence, since once they were released for lack of evidence, not a single Muslim country (including their own) has accepted to receive them, including Western countries! While the US sent them on a plane blindfolded, handcuffed, and chained, once they arrived to Uruguay, Mujica (who he himself has been tortured for 13 years under the previous dictatorship) insisted that they need to come out of the plane in a dignified way, so they took off the blindfolds, chains, and handcuffs on the plane, and as they were walking out, they got cheered and hugged by the Uruguayan crowds, then they were given apartments, salaries, and loads of job offers from the public to start a new life. I immediately recalled the Ayah Indeed, with (every) hardship comes ease (Al-Sharh 94:5). We ask Allah to guide and reward the nation of Uruguay, the champions of human rights, and president Mujica, the Najaashi of our time!
