Submitted letter: The 2013 Christmas Wish committee wants to thank everyone involved in making this program successful. With your help, we were able to provide Christmas gifts for many children who would otherwise not have had any gifts. We worked with 111 families, with 285 children, this year, and because of the generosity of the people of the River Valley, we were able to make sure that all these children were taken care of. We sincerely thank the individuals, the businesses, the churches, the departments at Arkansas Tech, and the other groups who adopted families on our list. The gifts that you provided for these children were incredibly generous. We also thank River Valley Leader for helping publicize this program, thus helping us facilitate matching donors to families needing help. We did have a few families that were not adopted, but we were also able to provide for these families with donations of money and gift cards from several individuals, churches, and businesses.
