This home was a foreclosure and had issues which were not easily resolvable by consumers. Therefore, we feel that having the Neighborhood Stabilization Programs assistance greatly alleviated the bank, the city, and the homeowner. We knew that the homeowner chosen had limited funds and limited availability for home maintenance, as she was semi-retired, on a single income, and is now on disability. Even though the qualification and financing process was long and tiring, we sought it out until the completion in order to make home ownership a reality for our homeowner.
