*Success Story & Pupdate** Back in March a young lady contacted Sponsor Adoptions regarding her puppy Layla. She noticed that she was lethargic, not eating or drinking water, and not playing. We all knew, most likely, this was parvo. She did not qualify for CareCredit and was not financial stable enough to afford the hospitalization of parvo. We sent her to the good people at Arlington Animal Health Care Center and Layla was given a take home parvo kit. Her owner paid for half of it. She administered the medicine and quarantined her while she recovered during those very scary first few days. Layla got better day by day. However, he other dog Khloe was showing the same symptoms. Once again, Khloe was sent home with a parvo kit that her owner paid half of also, and then Khloe got better! It was simply a miracle that these two young pups actually survived such a deadly disease and by using a lower cost method, that is not guaranteed. The owner is now educated on the importance of vaccinations to prevent this. Both dogs were spayed and are doing wonderful! Cases like these would not exist if it were not for monthly continuous donations from our amazing supporters and donors! We are not able to keep helping once funds run out, and these were two lives that were able to be saved and prevent euthanasia. Thanks to Sponsor Adoptions I was able to keep both of my girls alive after being diagnosed with Parvo. I was to the point of giving up & having to put both of my dogs down, because I didnt have the money to start with their treatments; but thanks to the lady at the vet who recommended me to Sponsor Adoptions, I submitted my application & a day later Molly from Sponsor Adoptions called me (giving me hope) got my girls in for treatment & even helped me get them up to date on their vaccinations & spayed. I couldnt be any more thankful. My girls are now back to normal & healthy as can be. Thanks Sponsor Adoption you are a blessing to me!
