Success...... security........ happiness....... understanding....... emotional balancing........ secular education.......... spiritual education......... truth as it was, is, and will be........ and most of all, a deeper relationship with God and a stronger conviction that Jesus is the Christ. This is what happens to me every time I complete reading the Book of Mormon. My experiences are similar after reading the Bible and the remaining standard works but there is something very influential and compelling that radiates from the Book of Mormon. I share with the world that this statement, located in the Introduction of the Book of Mormon is true. Concerning this record the Prophet Joseph Smith said: “I told the brethren that the Book of Mormon was the most correct of any book on earth, and the keystone of our religion, and a man would get nearer to God by abiding by its precepts, than by any other book.” There are a lot of clams made by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints like that the Priesthood power held by the Apostles of old has been restored in this day by heavenly messengers preparatory to the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. I do not wish to side step the Bible in any way, but if God where to do a Restoration of His church, there would have to be some significant evidence that He had done so. The Book of Mormon is that evidence, testifying on every page that Jesus Christ is the Redeemer of the world. I hope that by sharing this experience, others will also investigate more ways to increase their own moral character and discipline for what I call Christlike attributes. We are in need of more people who will step up and accept the difficult challenge of living more abundantly, and in their own way, high standards and Christlike attributes. And we need more that will share their opinion and experiences. In fact, I invite all to comment on what they think about my own. We cannot grow together unless we discuss and share what we think with each other. I will be opening my mouth more often in all places.
