Successful day at Kansas state capital testifying on Erins Law. While the Representatives did not vote on the bill and will do that next week they showed nothing but support for this school mandate to give kids a voice. One of the best states Ive testified in. Things many other states made us make amendments to or brought issues up about Kansas didnt at all or did the opposite. They basically were calling for all really good amendments to be included in bill including for it to be like the Illinois bill where it goes from Pre-K to 12th grade instead of how Kansas currently has Erins law written for it kindergarten to 6th grade. A great group of representatives who will vote next week. Cant thank Rep. jennings below in photo enough for sponsoring this bill and the Western Kansas CAC for bringing it to him and testifying today as well! If your from Kansas you should be proud you got some great Reps. Now we just need to work on the Senate I heard they will be tougher but we got this Kansas residents!
