Id like Christian theologists reconcile how it is fair that generations stemming from the original couple, Adam and Eve, inherit the guilt of their act. Being thrust into this world is no fault or choice of a newborn who has done nothing but experience cell mitosis through the union of sperm and egg, yet they are born presumed guilty. Is that not like a Grandfather giving a timeout or spanking their grandchildren because the kids parent one time in the past took a cookie from the jar when they werent supposed to? Ignoring the fact that we were specially designed by God himself to commit sin, when will he stop holding a grudge against generations of offspring whos ultimate ancestors committed an act which offended him?
