Suffolk County Community College President Dr. Shaun McKay was on our Grant Campus today for a Town Hall Meeting with faculty and staff and later a luncheon with students and student leaders. President McKay provided an update about the college, campus news as well as budget and other issues. President McKay told the gathered group about the William J. Lindsay Life Sciences Building ribbon cutting slated for October 21 and also about the Suffolk County Legislatures approval just yesterday of a new traffic circle on the Ammerman Campus that will improve safety for students, pedestrians, faculty and staff visiting the campus. President McKay and Campus Executive Dean James Keane also updated the group about building projects slated for the Grant Campus. President McKay did field several questions from the group, and was given updates from the various departments. Representatives from our Student Veterans Association were also recognized and thanked for their service to our college and country.
