Sultanates delegation left on the first day of the happy Eid alfitr to United Kingdom to participate in the summer program of the University of Cambridge. The fourth experience since 2011, Ministry of Endowments & Religious Affairs has been sending consecutively each year its religious cadres of various religious sectors both males and females after preparing them to participate in the program Cambridge Inter-faith Programme which is organized by the University of Cambridge and falls under the chair of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said of Abrahamic religions where number of religious cadres and symbols from around the world meet and live peacefully coexistence for weeks according to a planed agenda prepared by CIPs special team involves various activities like lectures, studying of sacred texts, Secriptural Reasoning and visiting worship and historical places in UK. Mubarak Salem Al-Quraini the supervisor of Omani delegation said that this participation comes from the Ministry in order to provide an opportunity for religious cadres to open up with the world and see what others have to present Islam in its true shape and went on saying that its mentioned in the biography of Ibn Hisham that Suwaid Ibn Alsamit one of the Elders of ignorance faced Mecca to prepare Umrah and pilgrims ... overcame him Messenger of Allah, may Allah Peace Be Upon Him and his family when he heard of him. Suwaid told him: ((perhaps what you have is similar to what I have)) The Prophet Mohamed Peace Be Upon Him and his family asked: what do you have? Said: Journal of Luqman, the Prophet Muhammad Peace Be Upon Him said: Show me, read it for me then said to him: This talk is good but what I have is even much better : Its Holy Quran revealed by Allah as guidance and light, the Prophet then recited the Holy to him.. As you can see the prophet did not keep away from him but sat, listened and talked to him.
