Sulzberger - you got caught with your pants down - and trust me its not pretty to look at - I realize that watching the liberal ilk eat their own is a sport we enjoy- however - in this case, as I said the night it broke, I must be true to my own beliefs -- Abramson , while liberal, did nothing wrong - she wanted to expand the Times, do more investigative work (which the NYT does well ) and get more help for digital Times - oh and of course more money, on par with last editor -- Sulzburger? Would have none of that..Abramson dared to question him, dared to tell him that the Times must change, dared to challenge him and those who worked for her to move forward digitally and in focus ---- She dared to do her job. So what happens? They call her hard to work with - she was too tough - she was demanding .. This pains me.. however....... if she were a man, she would be lauded for a no nonsense style of management , a slimmer, trimmer, more focused NYT -- but she went one step too far, she wanted the same pay as previous editor....the bottle of perfume and good job sweetheart of old just doesnt cut it, does it? All of the facts are not known - but its the same old story .. Liberals have the true war on women going full force - they use them, then discard them for their own purposes. I am not a Abramson fan - to the contrary - but I have noticed a shift in the NYTimes in so much as their return to longer , more in depth pieces.. agreeing or disagreeing with a news source and complaining about it is tedious - learn from all of it -- and the shift Abramson was showing was worth the read. She also realized that the digital aspect of the Times was growing and needed a new managing editor -- and much more concentration to keep up with her competitors ... She did her job. Therefore, it is clear, this was more about personalities , and editing while female -- From the WaPo, to LeMonde in France, to the NY TIMES .. all bastions of liberalism , purporting the female reporters - are frauds. YES, we knew that - Old White Liberal men are the most misogynists of all.
