Summary of Ilm-o-Amals e-learning program: 1. Participating schools in underprivileged communities in Karachi and Lahore are provided: a) free access to web based education portal b) free Internet access, tablets, laptops and monitors c) teacher’s salary d) free teacher training provided in our Iqra School eLearning in Chanesar Goth, Karachi 2. Decent employment provided to 20 teachers and supporting staff who are mostly women from the same localities 3. We opened eLearning centers in these localities Karachi: Korangi, Saddar, Chanesar Goth, Ibrahim Hyderi, Orangi, Malir (SOS Village), North Karachi, Lahore: Fateh Garh 4. Developed web based portal for students and teachers
