Summer is coming to an end. It is near I can feel it. The lush and deep green trees will suddenly abandon their color and go for the beauty of fall! Its like Mother Earth is telling us here we go, one more beautiful time before winter comes and puts us all asleep. Growing up in Colby Point with my grandparents was a wonderful time. The treasures that I would find at this time would be the gifts I would use for Christmas. I had a hard time though as each leaf I found was prettier than the last and before you knew it I had a red wagon full of colorful leaves. Orange, brown and reddish gold covers all the leaves unfold. As the summer drifts away, Lengthens nights and shortens days. Have you seen my place in fall? It will grow on you. As the tree stand full and tall, Reaching towards the blue. Little houses in a row, yellow shines within. Pumpkins carved and candies out, let the games begin. Hollow’s eve, it marks the day that fall has come and gone. Spring and summer fall behind, arrives the winter dawn.
