Summer signing Emre Can will make his starting debut for Liverpool when the Reds return to Barclays Premier League action against Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Road this afternoon. Brendan Rodgers has opted to make four changes to the team he fielded during the important 2-1 victory over West Bromwich Albion at Anfield two weeks ago. Can, who returns from a six-week ankle-injury lay-off, replaces Philippe Coutinho in midfield to make a third appearance for the club since arriving from Bayer Leverkusen in July. Rodgers has made two changes to his defence. Spanish full-backs Alberto Moreno and Javier Manquillo come out of the starting XI - and they are replaced by Jose Enrique and Glen Johnson. Up front, Mario Balotelli is restored to the line-up in place of Rickie Lambert, while Steven Gerrard, Jordan Henderson, Adam Lallana and Raheem Sterling retain their starting berths. Joe Allen, who has not featured for the Reds since their 3-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane on August 31, makes a welcome return to a strong substitutes bench.
