Summer time & Fish Besides barbecue, fish is a typical summer food in Serbia. The countrys numerous rivers and lakes are abundant in fish. According to available data, there about 95 fishes, the most common ones being carp, catfish, pike and pikeperch. There are also places that offer good quality trout. You can have it grilled, roasted or fried. Also, having your fish by a river will certainly add up to this food experience :-)
