SummerJam live from Salt Lake City promised to be a huge, headline affair, as every GWA Title was on the line. Casi D battled new champ Scarlett for the GWA World Womens Title, but Scarlett hit the Red Letter for the pin and the successful defense.. US: Lance Willoughby vs. Otis Gerron Willoughby blocked the champions power bomb attempts, then side stepped the Spear efforts sending The Big O shoulder first into the corner. A last-gasp northern lights suplex gave the challenger the upper hand, and that led to the Half-Boston Crab and a submission win for Lance Willoughby. X-League: John Paul Mey vs. Chico The young high-flyer Chico shocked the world by stealing the belt a month ago with a tornado DDT, but JPM had him well scouted, countering with two back body drops and a northern lights suplex against the much younger challenger. After the last back body drop counter, JPM connected on a bulldog and a sleeper hold that transitioned into a backbreaker. That backbreaker kept the young Chico stunned long enough for the Mey or Mey Not (shooting star press), and the new Power Line has its first gold. Hardcore: Aubrey Scott vs.The Monster Tim Rounding off a thirty minute back and forth match, the hardcore legend drops The Monster Tim with a leather-strap-assisted bulldog into a cinder block, then leaps into a super tombstone piledriver through two tables to win back the title for the first time in nearly a decade. Shane Collins vs. Rockstar Marc Thompson Former World Champ Thompson controls most of the match, but after the bout is 2/3 over, the Collins Dragon Sleeper is the most effective equalizer. A counter leads to a split-legged springboard for the Japanese Trained Collins. The White Dragon then spins around the turnbuckle for a tornado super dragon bomb and the pin, and Collins is sure to have green grass ahead...but what about the former champion? Tag Team: Sean Patrick Irving and Daniel Wood.vs The Lawrence County Wrecking Crew Irving and Wood steal the belts as Wood uses brass knuckles against Williamson before lifting Chase Smith for the plancha/bomb finisher and the second set of titles for Power Line. IC: Josh Kirby vs. D-Money D-Money puts up a good fight for over 20 minutes, but its clear from the get-go that Kirby is the more deserving Mega-Star. A Kirby Kick was blocked, but led to Kirby connecting on a combination Thesz Press/bulldog. After that, it was a matter of momentum as the Kirby Krush (Canadian Destroyer) obliterated the champion, and gave the Alliance another belt. The Don vs. Ryan Denney The past X League Champ held his own against the organizer of chaos for about five minutes, but the former number one contender to the GWA World Heavyweight Title took control and played with his over matched foe before finishing Denney off with the leaping enzigiri, The Kiss of Death, followed by a Michinoku Driver I I called the Final Offer. World Heavyweight: Leo Richardson vs. Bobby Freeman Both factions tried to run interference, but Freeman blocked the Case Closed and took the rookies legs out. Over the next several minutes, Freeman would work over Richardsons legs, before getting the young buck to submit to the figure four and becoming one of two Alliance competitors to keep their titles tonight.
