Sunday 10:00 am update I just wanted to check in here. There hasnt been a lot going on to update about. Kristina is slowly making progress. Shes working very hard at it and promises to continue doing so. They attempted to put her in a cardiac chair earlier this week, and her blood pressure dropped so she could only tolerate about ten minutes worth of sitting up. Last night they put her in the chair, and she tolerated it for two hours with no blood pressure drops. Shes had a little redness in her left eye. Due to her history with allergies, they assumed thats what it was and started an eye drop yesterday. Im not so sure it isnt pink eye. I have been cleaning it out all night, so they are sending in a doc to look at it. She indicates it is causing her some discomfort, so hopefully we can get that taken care of ASAP. Shes been awake and alert since I got here yesterday. She refused to sleep so I went to the waiting room for a few hours last night hoping she would rest. They said she did close her eyes a little bit, but shes been awake and alert since I got back in here at 3:30 this morning. Other than that, theres just not a whole lot going on. I spoke with the doctor a little bit ago, and he said he is pleased with what he is seeing. He said the process is slow, and while we have no prognosis, we need to be patient and let her do things at her pace. We thank God for every day we are given.
