....Sunday 10th August, I landed safely into my country my very own mother Zambia. One thing I surely know is that this was possible because of you my friends and family and the congregation of Riverside for standing with me faithfully as I flew back home. At KK airport, I had a thunderous welcome from my brothers and their spouses and children and not forgetting my very own family, my wife, Zitheka and Chisomo. Oh yes, the love was just amazing. At my parent’s home, there was yet another big surprise where the extended family gathered to welcome me with a big feast that gave me an opportunity to taste different types of food that I had missed over the year. Oh my God I was humbled, touched and just felt the real joy of being a family. After three days the journey continued to the Copperbelt to our home and the Lord gave me grace to drive my family to Kitwe. It was another wonderful journey accompanied by wonderful and funny stories from my children. Sunday 17th was my maiden Sunday at our congregation of Riverside. The word by visiting minister Abusa Patwayo Mbewe was powerful. I gave the benediction after a year and greeted the congregation....wow the reception was amazing. It feels nice to rejoin the fellowship and beautiful family of our congregation. All this has been possible because you prayed for me. I can only say glory be to God.
