Sunday, 13th July 2014 - 9am departure - Wicked Espresso Group 1 : Flat ride this week : Leaving Wicked turn left onto Fergusson Drive, head south, over Silverstream Bridge onto SH – turn left onto Block Road – back roads to Petone, go over Petone overbridge – heading into Wellington – around the bays, up Owhiro Valley through Brooklyn, through Wellington CBD, back onto Thorndon Quay, SH back to Silverstream (over bridge) onto Fergusson Drive with the final sprint to coffee @ Wicked. Group 2 : Flat ride this week : Leaving Wicked turn left onto Fergusson Drive, head south, over Silverstream Bridge onto SH – turn left onto Block Road – back roads to Petone, go over Petone overbridge – heading into Wellington (stopping at iRide to check on how everyone is feeling) – head around the bays, (check at the Island Bay turnoff where you can then cut through to Kilbirnie to check on everyone again) otherwise continue on around bays up Owhiro Valley through Brooklyn, through Wellington CBD, back onto Thorndon Quay, SH back to Silverstream (over bridge) onto Fergusson Drive with the final sprint to coffee @ Wicked. NEW Group 3: As there was no G3 riders last Sunday, I’ve left the route the same – though please add on more if this is too short on the day… turn left onto Fergusson Drive heading to Stokes Valley – riding right to the end of Stokes Valley Road, rest a mo, then head back the way you came, turning right to get back onto Fergusson Drive –turn right into Ward Street, turn right into Miro Street, left onto Ararino Street, right into Totara Street to Wicked Espresso for coffee.
