I hope he realises just how Totally, extortionately proud I am of him His journey started a few years ago When a beret he wanted to earn He single handedly set himself a mission to apply to be a marine What Im most proud about ( and he too know so well !!!) Is that the officers he m During his application and interview stages had even more faith in he Cookie son, youve got far more about you!!! : ! Theres something special about you young man!!! Being a marine is fine : youll make that !!! but we all feel youve got officer material by far and you re deserved of your very own green hat !!! So cookie took it upon himself once more to follow as they d Advised him He Grabbed all advise with both hands tightly : he trained: he revised; he read ; he set himself goals determined to meet on a daily basis Never one to doubt himself : he trained real hard and it all paid off He passed all his POC: Proving he was fit enough He passed all the fitness tests , endurance tests He proved he had the fitness ( again there was never ever a doubt as cookie set his very own goals throughout!!!) He Passed all the bottom field tests runs, bleeps, chins , sit ups , press up and the rest And then revised and passed his AIB - interview panels , essays, presentations and all Ive never known him to revise so much at all The teachers at boys high would have been proud of his revision plans : far more intense than his A Level ones !!! But he did it through self discipline and Determination Self motivation and devotion A strict and detailed plan of action Hes demonstrated Courage, fearlessness and an attitude to match Hes going to be an officer for the Royal Marines : a perfect catch A gentleman, an officer : I know he will be Proudly earning the honour.
