Sunday, 2nd November. GOD SETS US IN FAMILIES. God sets the solitary in families; He brings out those who are bound into prosperity; But the rebellious dwell in a dry land. (Psalms 68:6 NKJV). Yesterday we learnt that God is a family God. And He does virtually everything via family and families. And today I want to explore the fact that God doesnt bring us into the world, He actually sets us in families. And when you got saved you did not just get saved but you got introduced into a church family as well. But our text reveals that God does not just set fortunate people in families, He also sets other kinds of people in families. I am referring to people who were abandoned, people whose parents died and left them at very young ages, people who have been rejected and very frustrated in this world. There is a name the bible has for these kinds of people; they are solitary. A solitary person is a person of solitary disposition, or a very lonely person. This is someone who lacks companions or companionship. If you are such a person, I have good news for you; God specializes in setting people in families. God can give you a brother or sister again, God can give you a father, God can give you a mother. And just in case yours has to do with children, God can give you children too in Jesus Name. Please note that the scripture uses the word set. He sets us in families, meaning that he positions us in families. When a thing is set, it means that it has been strategically placed for a future occurrence or event. God would not be setting you if good was not waiting for you in front. You need to be set properly for a coming lifting, blessing or even possible connection. Your family may not be so rich, or connected as it were, but know that you have been set there to manifest at the right time. Stop wishing you were born into a better family; that is the best family for your manifestation. You have been setup for a glorious destiny. Assignment. i. Take a good look at your family again and begin to appreciate God for the family He has located you. ii. Ask God to open your eyes to see His set up for you in your present family. Prayer. -Lord I Thank You for the family you have given to me. I remain eternally grateful to You in Jesus Name. -I receive the full blessings of this divine family positioning in Jesus Name.
