Sunday 31st of August, 2014. Ministering: Pst. Ademola Bankole. Sermon: ANOINTING FOR EXEMPTION Text: Exodus 11: 4-7 Today, in the world there is fear. In Nigeria we are facing the challenge hope for Nigeria? Boko Haram and Ebola virus, companies and industries are closing down all because of fear! Is there hope? As the representative of God, i have come to let you know theres Hope for you. From the account read above, we saw that out of the ten (10) plagues that came upon the Egyptians none touched the Israelite because God kept them in Goshen and they were exempted. LESSONS: 1. God will always give an instruction. Brethren, most time Gods instructions always look foolish but, just obey. 2. God also told the Israelite to eat the remaining meat while standing. 3. God told the Israelite to go borrow Jewel and Gold from the Egyptians. Exodus 11:2-3. Remember these are slaves and a thought could have been is this another way for us to be killed. It will only take a lot of courage for them to obey. Amazingly, God had gone ahead of them and they obtain favor. Exodus 12: 29-30. RESULTS: 1. None of the Israelite died because they listened to Moses. Do you obey your Pastor? 2. Pharaoh ordered them to go becuase the Israelite became Terror to their oppressor. BENEFITS OF COVENANT OF EXEMPTION 1. Believe the word of God. Psalms 91:7-10, Psalms 91:16, Psalms 118:17. Always hold on to Gods promise in face of apparent challenge/problems. 2. Gods Favor. Ask God for His favor as shield about and around yourself. MAXIMIZING THE BENEFIT OF THE COVENANT OF EXEMPTION 1. The Israelite were warned that at the night of the plague they should be at their homes. 2. Covenant must bring something out of you (Offerings/seed). Psalms 20:1-3. In the new testament, there was an incident they brought to Jesus about a Roman that was sick and it is not lawful for a Jew to visit the Roman. But, the man built a synagogue for God and when Jesus heard He went with them, 3. Get rid of fear and begin to walk in the awareness of Gods covenant. Psalms 23:4.
