Sunday American Legion and Little League Baseball: Stratford 5 Branford 2, Brandon Russo got the win, Sam Breiner had a 2 run single for Stratford; Branford took Game 2 10-0, Dylan Millhouse got the win, Nick Perrelli and Will Coleman each had 2 hits and 2 rbis for Branford; Orange took 2 from East Haven 18-6 and 22-14!; Shelton defeated New Haven in Game 1 7-0 on a Mike Rotondo no-htter; New Haven took Game 2 8-2; North Haven defeated Ansonia 3-2(9) in Game 1; Ansonia won Game 2 3-2; Little League District 4 Playoffs: Wally and I took a short jaunt to Morse Park West Haven and watched North Branford score 2 runs in the bottom of the 6th and defeat West Haven 3-2; Johnny Pollack got the win and Bret Fee drove in the game winning rbi for NB; Great going back to the Park where I played Little League many years ago
