Sunday Mornin Words of Wisdom: Being Labor Day weekend, I thought this verse says it all. Matthew 11: :28-30 Come unto me, all ye that labor, and I will give you rest..29. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me, for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. Jesus isnt telling us to Come to me, all those of you who are working and you will never have to work again; come to me those of you who are weary under tremendous burdens and youll never be burdened again. No; He says come and I will give you rest. Come, all of you who trod this worlds road and I will give you power to trod more abundantly. Come, all of you carrying the weight of the cross and I will give you strength to carry it more lightly. Come all of you who are working and I will give you the ability to work even more. Come, all of you who are burdened down and I will give you the power to press on. We all need to be encouraged at times and these verses are very encouraging to me. Hope they are to you.
