Sunday Morning Prayer: Heavenly Father, I confess that I am often impatient and I dont like to wait; whether it be at a red light, traffic jam, waiting on my wife, waiting for a ballgame to start, waiting for an appointment or waiting to get well when Im sick. I am guilty of wanting things to always be in my timing. But, over the years I have learned that things are best granted when its in your timing. Your word reminds me that they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. And, it reminds me that Christ came in the fullness of time and that was your timing and not mine. Help all of us, Lord, to know the difference between waiting and procrastinating and to develop patience. And that will add joy to our lives, reduce stress and make life more meaningful. And one more thing, Lord, bless me and help me to be able to stay out of crowded malls, discount stores and shopping centers for the rest of this year. In Jesus Name, AMEN.
