Liverpool will be looking to kick off their season in impressive fashion as they aim for another title challenge. We think they will have too much quality for Southampton and expect them to win by 2 or 3 goals. The $6.00 odds that TAB are offering for Sturridge to kick 2 plus goals is extreme value! Most other agencies have this priced at around $3.50. Sturridge will likely start up front as the lone striker. He netted in his first three games last season and if Liverpool play in a similar style to last year, we expect him to start this season even better.
