Sunday Nkonde Suffers ‘State Sponsored’ Break In Prominent Lusaka lawyer Sunday Nkonde has become the latest victim of an alleged State sponsored break in at his law firm with the culprits getting away with three computers. Last week, Martha Mushipe, who like Nkonde is an opposition aligned lawyer, had her office ransacked in similar fashion with sources alleging it was a calculated work of State agents assigned to clandestinely steal documents with the view of implicating the officers. Nkonde, who is former Solicitor General, has represented the opposition MMD in several cases and other high profile personalities. The Patriotic Front government considers him a member of the MMD inner group. The culprits broke through the door and only took away the computers raising suspicion over what they were looking for on the computers. Recently Mushipe, who has also represented a number of opposition members among the UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema, had her office expertly broken into leaving a clue that a systematic job was underway.
